On the 13th, Hansol Home Deco announced that the "bathroom dry wall waterproof system" jointly developed with DL E&C has obtained "certification of new construction technology" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. It is a system that combines DL E&C's expertise in architectural design and construction with Hansol Home Deco's wall finish "Collect Wall."
The construction new technology certification is a system officially certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport by comprehensively evaluating novelty, progressiveness, and field applicability for construction technology developed for the first time in Korea or construction technology that improved existing technology. An official from Hansol Home Deco explained, "We have been recognized for greatly increasing the productivity of bathroom construction in apartment houses and improving the possibility of defects in the existing construction method."
The existing bathroom wall wet construction is a method of stacking bricks, mowing them with cement, and attaching tiles on them. The disadvantage is that a separate waterproof work is required and a curing process occurs, so the construction period is long. Dry construction using a collect wall is carried out by attaching the collect wall to a lightweight wall that can be quickly installed. An official from Hansol Home Deco said, "As there is no need for a separate curing process, the construction period of the bathroom will be reduced by half compared to the existing method and the construction productivity will be tripled."
Collectwall has already completed delivery of 33,000 households by being applied as a standard manual to all DL E&C sites, and is scheduled to be delivered to 45,000 additional households.
