Collaboration with Monami's representative products
Monami, a stationery company, announced on the 14th that it will collaborate with Hana Financial Group to produce goods using the works of artists with developmental disabilities and donate part of the production cost.
The collaboration will be conducted using four works of the award-winning Hana Art Bus, an art contest for artists with developmental disabilities.
Among the winning works, Han Seung-heon's "Friends in the Forest" (one time winner) and Hwang Jin-ho's "Bookshop with a View of the Forest" (two times winner) consist of a "live-collar 10-color set" that includes a package and two postcards. Live Color is a Monami product that has been steadily loved for its colorful colors and various nip utilization.
In addition, Lee Jae-young's "Tree with Green Fruit" (2 times winner) was used for "153ID Oatmeal" products containing ballpoint pens, packages, and sandpaper, while Lee Do-won's "Pond Village Frogs and Friends" (4 times winner) was used for "BP153" products. 153ID is Monami's high-end ballpoint pen, which is characterized by a soft writing sense, and BP153 refers to Monami's representative planetary ballpoint pen.
Monami plans to donate 5% of the goods' production costs to Art We Can, the Korea Association of Culture and Arts for the Developed Disabled. Donations will be used to support the operation of the "2026 Special Melody," a concert for pianists with developmental disabilities scheduled to be held in July.
"This collaboration is significant in that it will be an opportunity for artists with developmental disabilities to expand their creations to products and meet more consumers," a Monami official said. "We will continue to expand social values through various social responsibility (CSR) activities."
