Artificial intelligence (AI) announced on the 24th that Skipper Labs, a native financial decision-making infrastructure company, has attracted initial investment (Pre-A) from Atnum Ventures.

Skipper Labs automatically generates and supplies market analysis contents with AI on application screens of major securities companies in Korea. For example, it provides analysis content such as "Today's Market Situation" and "Stocks to Watch" that customers can access when using securities company apps.

The core of this technology is the autonomous intelligence engine 'skipper'. Autonomous intelligence engines are designed to intuitively deliver key insights by interpreting vast amounts of market data in real time, allowing investors to focus on decision-making itself instead of complex information processing.

Skipper Labs plans to use the investment to advance its autonomous intelligence engine and enter the global capital market. Skipper Labs' next goal is to launch an "AI stock agent" for individual investors beyond analysis tools for securities companies. Currently, it is being developed as a service that not only interprets the market situation but also assists in portfolio judgment.

Seo Young-woo, CEO of Skipper Labs, said, "Our AI technology has been verified for the first time through AI market collaboration with Korea Investment & Securities. Based on this investment, we plan to secure a super-gap technology advantage in AI-native financial data infrastructure and accelerate global market commercialization."

"We believe that agents that operate on top of the next-generation AI financial decision-making infrastructure will accelerate the flow of replacing the limitations of the existing financial data infrastructure with autonomous intelligence," said Kim Sung-kyun, CEO of ATNUM Ventures. "We decided to invest this time to join our vision to target the U.S. market and inform the global market of K-AI financial technology."
