Crown Confectionery announced on May 26, 2026, that it will release a limited quantity of 'Jeju Lemon Honey,' the third Big Pie Local Food Edition product, made with Jeju lemons. The special edition is limited in supply, and only 300,000 boxes will be sold using seasonal ingredients.

Background and history of the local food edition project

The Big Pie Local Food Edition is a regional win-win project that uses local specialties to highlight the appeal of domestic ingredients. It began with Nonsan strawberries in 2016 and later introduced Yeongdong grapes in 2024.

Features of the first summer-season release

'Jeju Lemon Honey' is the first summer-season product in the local food series. It is made with a jam created by grinding whole Jeju lemons, preserving the fresh aroma found in the peel. The product uses seasonal lemons shipped directly from Jeju Province and domestically produced honey.

Future plans

A Crown Confectionery official said, "With the addition of clean Jeju lemons, it has become even fresher and sweeter, so it will be a summer dessert that can help stimulate the appetite in the heat." The official added, "We will continue to promote mutual growth with local communities through Big Pie products made with proven regional specialties."
