Cosmax, a cosmetics manufacturer development and production (ODM) company, announced on the 5th that it has expanded and reorganized its partner collaboration platform "e-Biz" website. It plans to speed up supply chain diversification by adding a function to propose raw materials within the site.
With this reorganization, Cosmax allows new companies that have not had a deal with Cosmax to freely propose cosmetic ingredients. An English page has also been established to expand the proposal window to global raw material companies.
Previously, the raw material company proposed new raw materials through the person in charge of the purchasing team, but now it is possible to submit the proposal directly on the website without facing the person in charge, lowering the entry barrier. Cosmax updates all steps in real time from the receipt of the proposal to whether it is adopted and sends automatic notifications, allowing the proposed company to check the status of the review more transparently.
With the establishment of this platform, Cosmax is actively exploring new raw materials. Various proposals from domestic and foreign raw material companies will be accumulated as standardized data and used as an infrastructure for discovering raw materials in the mid- to long-term beyond simple raw material purchases.
An official from Cosmax said, "We will strengthen Cosmax's global raw material competitiveness by providing equal opportunities for proposals to new companies and systematically managing their history of proposals."
