Kakao Bank announced on the 16th that it has reorganized its "tax and utility payment" service so that various taxes and utility bills can be easily checked and paid.
The "tax and utility bill payment" service, launched in June 2023, is a service that allows users to inquire and process various tax and utility bills such as national taxes, customs duties, fines, and apartment management fees with the Kakao Bank app. It is characterized by being able to check both the type and amount of tax with a single inquiry, and paying it in batches.
Through this reorganization, not only national taxes, but also more diverse taxes and utility bills such as local taxes, living expenses, and four major insurances can be paid. Local taxes such as automobile tax, property tax, and resident tax, living charges such as electricity, water bills, road fees, telecommunication charges, and national pension and health insurance have been added.
If you select "Pay Taxes and Public Charges" on the entire tab of the Kakao Bank app, you can check the number of taxes to be paid and the total amount at a glance. By pressing the "Pay" button, you can look at the type of tax and each amount by item, and you can select and pay only the items you want or pay the whole thing as needed.
You can also check the previous payment details right away. If you select "View Details", the details of taxes and utility bills paid through Kakao Bank will be provided annually, allowing you to compare this year's payment with past details.
Depending on the upcoming local tax schedule, automobile tax (June), property tax (July), resident tax (August), and environmental improvement charges (September) can be paid on the Kakao Bank app.
