On the 8th, Nuryplex, an energy IoT (Internet of Things) platform company, announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with EcoEnergy, an energy company under the Uzbekistan government, to cooperate in the Community Energy Management System (CEMS) and renewable energy sector.

The agreement was signed during the '2nd Korea-Uzbekistan International Energy Value Network Forum' held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Based on CEMS technology, the two companies plan to jointly seek cooperation for energy efficiency and smart energy infrastructure in Uzbekistan, and expand various cooperation, including local demonstration projects and commercialization.

The forum was held as part of a project to support Uzbekistan's energy market development promoted by Korea Western Power. Nuriplex participated in the 'community energy management system development and demonstration project for demand-based energy efficiency' that is being developed jointly with GS Engineering & Construction with support from the Uzbekistan Ministry of Energy, the Korea International Cooperation Agency, and the Korea Energy Technology Evaluation Institute.
