EcoproBM started developing sulfide-based solid electrolytes, a core material for all-solid batteries, four years ago. Regarding the development of solid electrolytes, Gong Bo-hyun, managing director of EcoProBM R&D, said, "We are currently reviewing Xiyangsan with leading customers, and we expect the earliest mass production to be in 2027. We have completed the design of the mass production line and are preparing to start construction immediately in line with customer demand." "Since we started development four years ago, we are currently operating a pilot plant with an annual capacity of 40 tons after optimizing the process and composition, and the products produced here have passed quality verification by major battery companies," he added.

While developing solid electrolytes, EcoproBM is also developing cathode materials for solid electrolytes and next-generation battery materials suitable for them.
