Cleantopia believes that demand for professional shoe care services has also increased as the nation's running population exceeds 10 million due to the nationwide running craze and consumers for functional running shoes have increased. As functional running shoes with enhanced cushioning and ventilation and sneakers mixed with various materials increase, interest in management considering material characteristics is also increasing.
The main application items for shoe detailing services are running shoes, which are functional shoes, and sensitive and mixed-material shoes that require manual processes. "In the case of shoes with various materials such as mesh, knit, suede, and leather, careful management is required because shape deformation or material damage may occur during normal washing," a Klintopia official said.
