The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on the 21st that it held the 6th Distribution Win-Win Competition jointly with the Korea Department Store Association, the Korea Online Shopping Association, and the Korea Chain Store Association at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses in Yeouido, Seoul, and awarded four Hyundai Department Store, E-Mart, 11th Street, and Lotteon as model companies. This year's event was held under the slogan of "Small and Medium Businesses Growing with Win-Win Power."
Hyundai Department Store and E-Mart received the Fair Trade Commission's commendation on the same day.
Hyundai Department Store contributed 322.7 billion won as a win-win cooperation fund and introduced a performance sharing system, achieving 2.31 billion won in performance sharing last year. In addition, the Korea Small and Medium Venture Business Distribution Service and the "Panpan Shop" have been operated to support the sales of small and medium-sized enterprises, while providing scholarships to the children of executives and employees of partner companies.
E-Mart, which created a 124.6 billion won shared growth fund, was recognized for its contribution to jointly developing products and supporting exports with 300 small and medium-sized suppliers annually. In addition, it has operated No Brand Win-Win Store and conducted quality management consulting for partner companies.
11th Street, which received a commendation from the chairman of the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee, provided a low fixed commission rate of 6-8% for a year to small and medium-sized business owners who start online sales for the first time through a support program for "New Seller Sales UP."
Lotte On, which received a commendation from the chairman of the Shared Growth Committee, created a Shared Growth Fund worth 4.7 billion won and started to cut fees for small business owners in Onnuri traditional markets. In addition, 282 win-win projects were carried out for small and medium-sized businesses in 36,950 places with public institutions and local governments, achieving 309 billion won in sales.
"The domestic distribution industry is facing an unprecedented crisis amid a prolonged slump in domestic demand," said Kim Ki-moon, chairman of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business. "If Korea's leading retailers join hands with small and medium-sized companies and small business owners, the value of win-win will shine even more."
