Lotte Ria, the burger franchise operated by LOTTE GRS, is introducing a new menu item, the Burnt Beef Burger, created in collaboration with Chef Lee Chan-yang, who appeared on Netflix's cooking variety show Culinary Class Wars as the "eccentric genius."
The Burnt Beef Burger focuses on delivering a distinctive flavor that aligns with Lotte Ria's brand differentiation strategy, Taste The Fun (TTF).
The product emphasizes the smoky aroma of its ingredients. Its black burnt cheese bun is colored with squid ink, and cheddar and mozzarella cheese are baked on top to add a rich, savory taste. Beneath the patty, caramelized onions sautéed for four hours to deepen the umami flavor are paired with a pure beef patty. Notably, it also features Brown Butter Oil, which is served with the burger for the first time in the industry. Customers can drizzle the oil directly over the burger to add a deeper buttery flavor and enjoy a taste that sets it apart from conventional franchise offerings.
The product will be sold in limited quantities at Lotte Ria stores nationwide starting today.
A LOTTE GRS official said, "Following last year, this second collaboration with a star chef goes beyond fast food and offers customers a new experience of 'gourmet dining in everyday life.' We plan to continue introducing original menu items that can provide diverse experiences in line with the Lotte Ria brand concept."
