Gwangju Bank announced on the 11th that it has conducted "Dream Package Production Social Contribution Activities" to support local children.
This social contribution activity is designed to provide warm support and practical help to local children in need of care for Family Month in May, which includes Children's Day.
About 30 people, including Gwangju Bank executives and university student ambassadors, participated in the volunteer work held at the headquarters of Gwangju Bank, and they made 100 boxes of "Dream Packages" to be delivered to children at local children's centers.
Participants wrapped the items to be put in the package and expressed their support to the children. The completed package will be delivered to local children through the Gwangju Children's Center.
The Dream Package consists of a variety of items that can help children learn and live their daily lives. It contains school supplies and auxiliary bags, household items such as tumblers and auxiliary batteries, and items that can be used for learning and experience activities such as piggy banks, calculators, and electronic block games.
"I hope each item in the dream package will be delivered as a warm message that someone is cheering for their tomorrow, not just a gift to children," said Gwangju Bank President Chung Il-sun. "As a local financial institution, Gwangju Bank will continue to carry out various social contribution activities to help local children grow healthy."
