Iljin Electric (CEO Yoo Sang-seok), a comprehensive power equipment company, announced on the 12th that it has signed a contract with the Singapore Power Authority to supply ultra-high voltage wires worth about 108.6 billion won.
Iljin Electric is the only company in Korea that produces both transmission and distribution power devices, including ultra-high voltage transformers, ultra-high voltage wires, and copper and aluminum wires (Rod), which are materials for wires.
An official from Iljin Electric said, "We are making great efforts to win overseas orders for ultra-high-voltage wires along with ultra-high-voltage transformers," adding, "Iljin Electric's electric wire business will continue to grow through continuous orders."
