Cosmosin Materials announced on the 4th that it has succeeded in developing ultra-smooth release films that are applied to multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) for artificial intelligence (AI) servers.
The new product is a super-smooth release film that is applied to the best MLCC production process, and securing wettability required in the coating process of customers and realizing low surface roughness are considered key technologies. Cosmosin Materials succeeded in mass production by designing new release materials and release layer structures, meeting customer requirements through numerous experiments and process optimization.
Cosmosin Materials received the Excellence Award in Technology Development at Samsung Electro-Mechanics' "2026 Win-Win Cooperation Day" in recognition of its contribution to improving the production yield of MLCC for AI servers. An official from Cosmo New Materials said, "We expect to contribute to improving sales and profitability by increasing demand due to the expansion of the AI market in the future," adding, "We will continue to expand differentiated technology development."
