On the 17th, Hyundai L&C, a comprehensive construction material company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, announced that it recently signed an exclusive distribution contract for wooden floors and faucets with Italian wood company Florian and German bathroom material company KEUCO. A Hyundai L&C official explained, "The demand for high-end materials is rapidly increasing, mainly in the metropolitan area reconstruction complex and the new sales option market, so we are pushing for an exclusive contract with European brands."
Florian is a company that has been in the wood processing business for more than 50 years, and prime AB-grade oak wood floor, which is produced in Italy, is the representative product. It is adopted in retail stores and luxury officetels of global luxury brands. Prime AB is the highest grade in the European hardwood floor standard classified based on the cleanness and uniformity of the unique texture of the tree, meaning there is no Ong or crack that determines the quality of the product. Koico is a German luxury bathroom material company, and the company's Susan is constructed in five-star hotels and resorts worldwide, including Indian Marriott, Maldives Anantara Resort, and Hong Kong Peninsula, as well as high-end residential complexes at home and abroad.
Hyundai L&C's strategy is to start the operation of the B2B (business-to-business transaction) integration package based on the product lineup strengthened by the signing of the distribution contract. The B2B integrated package of construction materials consists of about 20 types of options that are only constructed in high-end houses among windows, floors, top boards, and wall mounts that are applied to residential spaces such as living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. They include Hyundai L&C's premium window lehow, engineered stone canstone, Florian wooden floor, and KOICO faucet. In particular, it plans to start operating premium construction materials B2B for reconstruction complexes in the Seoul metropolitan area and high-end residential facilities in the Gangnam area. An official from Hyundai L&C said, "We will expand our lineup of premium construction materials optimized for domestic residential culture."
