Nears Lab, an autonomous flying drone company, submitted a securities report to the Financial Services Commission the previous day and began a full-fledged KOSDAQ listing process.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure system on the 26th, Niers Lab will recruit a total of 910,000 new shares through the listing.
The desired range of public offering price per share is 30,000 won to 41,200 won. The public offering amount is 27.3 billion won to 37.5 billion won, and the expected market capitalization after listing is 173.1 billion won to 237.8 billion won.
After a demand forecast from July 27th to 31st, it will receive subscriptions for public offering shares of general investors for two days from August 5th to 6th. The listing organizer is Samsung Securities Co.
Beyond simple drone manufacturing, Niers Lab is developing physical AI drones that perform high-level missions in the physical world by incorporating AI technology into drones.
The core competitiveness is 'early intelligence' that integrates cognitive, navigation, guidance, and control technologies necessary for autonomous drone flight. The drone was implemented to automatically perform its mission by recognizing and judging the surrounding environment by itself without a pilot.
Based on this technology, Niers Lab introduced the drone hard-kill solution 'KAiDEN' and the cluster strike drone 'XAiDEN'.
Instead of expensive air defense missiles worth billions of won, Kaiden is a drone solution that can neutralize the enemy's drone threat with low cost and high efficiency.
It flies at a high speed of up to 280 kilometers per hour and automates the entire process from launch to detection, tracking, and interception. It has already exported to Southeast Asia.
On the 2nd, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed with LIG D&A. The two companies are cooperating in the development of interception drone derivatives for the Daedrone Hardkill Proximity Defense System project and the export of overseas integrated air defense networks.
Zaiden is a next-generation tactical platform designed to allow one person to operate up to 10 drones simultaneously. It is composed of one 'commander' drone that serves as command and control and nine 'striker' drones that perform interception.
It signed a contract worth $10 million in a year after entering the defense industry in 2024. This is the largest single contract in the domestic defense drone sector.
Niers Lab's current order backlog is about KRW 20.9 billion based on its securities report. Based on this, it is forecasting sales of about 27 billion won this year.
