Brills, a robot modular platform solution company, announced on the 26th that it has been approved for a preliminary listing review by the KOSDAQ market headquarters of the Korea Exchange. The listing organizer is IBK Investment & Securities Co.
Brills is a robot modular platform solution company that covers the entire process of designing, controlling, manufacturing, installing, and maintaining robot systems.
If the existing robot automation market focused on developing a new system from the beginning according to the process of each customer, Brills is a strategy to pre-build control technologies and software on a module-by-module basis and combine them for the site.
Brills' robot modular platform solution is designed to break down the technology into elemental units, similar to the Lego block structure, so that it can selectively combine only the necessary functions.
Through this, it is possible to implement optimized applications for each industrial site, shorten the deployment period, and reduce costs.
Based on the process experience and technology accumulated over the past decade, the company has developed more than 100 types of core element technologies by platforming them.
In particular, the company said it has secured versatility and scalability that does not depend on a specific robot brand or equipment through a modular structure.
Currently, solutions are supplied to all major industries, including automobiles, semiconductors, secondary batteries, food, and logistics. Recently, it is expanding its application to new business areas including medical, aerospace, and environment.
The public offering funds will be invested in developing core technologies, expanding overseas markets, and expanding production and operation infrastructure. In particular, it aims to expand its North American market share based on a local subsidiary established in Michigan in March.
"This listing will provide a turning point for us to become a global automation solution company," said Jin Jun, CEO of Brills.
