Sejong City will implement the "Integrated Medical and Nursing Care Project for the Disabled" that provides integrated health, medical, and welfare services to the disabled from the 1st of next month.

Integrated care is a project that integrates and links services that have been provided individually to people with severe disabilities.

Persons eligible for support are persons with severe disabilities under the age of 65 who live in Sejong City and require integrated care, and support persons with physical or brain lesions first. People with disabilities who have difficulty living independently can also receive services if they are recognized by the head of a local government.

If selected as a target for support, 41 services tailored to the disabled will be provided, including visiting medical care and nursing, pilot projects for health doctors with disabilities, home-visit rehabilitation services, activity support services for the disabled, and daily care services.

You can apply for the use of the service at the Eup, Myeon, Dong Administrative Welfare Center. Applicants receive service linkage and follow-up management according to individual support plans established through a comprehensive judgment survey by the National Pension Service.

Noh Hee-dong, head of the care and health department, said, "We will complete the Sejong-type integrated doll model that organically links local resources," adding, "We will make sure that the disabled can lead a healthy and independent life."
