Differentiated with twice as large ice
SK Magic, SK Intelix's health platform brand, showed a significant increase in sales of ice water purifiers last month.
According to SK Magic on the 2nd, sales of ice water purifiers increased by more than 50% in June compared to June last year. Ice water purifiers are products that increase sales significantly in summer, but it is unusual for sales to surge from early summer.
SK Magic explained, "As the trend of making and drinking beverages at home such as home cafes and home drinks spreads, ice water purifiers have become essential home appliances for all seasons." As the heat started earlier this year than usual, the purchase of water purifiers became faster, and SK Magic's new product "Mega Ice Water Purifier" released in May also drove sales.
Mega Ice Water Purifier is a product differentiated from Mega Ice (about 25g) that is more than twice as large as conventional ice water purifiers. The maximum amount of ice-making per day is 5.7kg, which is designed so that even if you drink cold drinks frequently, you will not be short of ice. Currently, the proportion of ice water purifiers in SK Magic's total water purifier sales has risen to about 40%.
