Large-scale exports to Japan begin in earnest
The Venture Business Association announced on the 9th that it has obtained official formal approval from the Japanese fire authorities and signed an export contract of 100,000 units annually as an "eco-friendly aerosol-type simple fire extinguisher" by Korea Fire Protection Technology, a venture company specializing in eco-friendly fire extinguishers for battery fires.
At the same time as the official type approval, Korea Fire Protection Technology secured the first confirmed purchase order (PO) of 10,000 units, paving the way for large-scale exports to Japan.
The acquisition of type approval is significant in that it passed the Japanese fire inspection standard, which is famous for conservative and strict standards for overseas fire products, through two years of technical verification and process reliability proof. Korea Fire Protection Technology has secured exclusive legal distribution status through close collaboration with its local distribution partner, Del Associates.
The fire extinguisher 'Key-L119', which has been officially certified in the Japanese market, is an eco-friendly product that does not use perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) that are harmful to the human body and the environment at all. Korea Fire Protection Technology has officially started producing and delivering 10,000 units of initial volume in line with the plan to order 100,000 units a year.
Hwang Incheon, CEO of Korea Fire Protection Technology, said, "We have been recognized for the excellence of K-fire technology by passing all the strict screening by the Japanese fire authorities and obtaining official formal approval. Starting with the first delivery of 10,000 units, we will complete our annual export target of 100,000 units without a hitch, and actively target the global battery fire response safety market as a leader in K-fire prevention."
