When asked if they would like to use a "home security system" that can detect abnormalities in front of the door and request remote check and dispatch, 53.4% of single-person households and 57.2% of multi-person households said they would like to use it. Most of these concerns reflected real-world experience. Asked if he had actually experienced a threat after being away from home, 53.3% of the respondents said they had "more than once."
First, when asked about "the most worrisome thing when leaving home for vacation," single-person households responded in order of "the theft of parcel delivery in front of the door" (59.1%), "No one knows even if there is an emergency" (46.7%), and "Intrusion for an empty house" (46.2%). It was found that they were more concerned about the theft of parcel delivery in front of the door than the intrusion, which was considered a representative cause of anxiety in the past.
There was also a lot of concern about pet care. In single-person households living with pets, most of the respondents answered the same question, "I'm worried about my pet I left at home" (72.5%).
The survey was conducted for four days from July 7 to 10 for customers using S1 commercial security services, with a total of 7,556 respondents.
