On the 20th, Lulu Lab, an artificial intelligence (AI) skin analysis platform company, announced that it has obtained 'TI-1', the highest rating for investment technology credit rating, from NICE evaluation information.
The investment technology evaluation grade is a system that comprehensively evaluates a company's technology, commercialization capabilities, marketability, and growth potential. NICE evaluation information gave a high evaluation of Lulu Lab's core technology, 'AI-based skin analysis and diagnosis technology', through an evaluation report. In particular, high-resolution and high-precision 3D scanning and analysis technologies, ultra-small lesion precision detection technologies, and raw Generative AI-based 3D simulation technologies were cited as major competitiveness. According to a paper released by Lulu Lab, Lulu Lab secured 15% higher skin analysis accuracy and 75% higher analysis speed in comparative experiments with global AI companies.
More than 5 million skin data accumulated by Lulu Lab in more than 60 countries around the world and a number of patents and R&D achievements were also evaluated as strengths. Lulu Lab currently has about 90 patent registrations and applications, with an average R&D investment ratio of 44.1% over the past three years, and has published 36 related papers at home and abroad. It also won the CES Innovation Award for four consecutive years.
NICE evaluation information also noted that Lulu Lab has platform technology that can be expanded to the medical field beyond simple skin condition analysis. Based on the 3D AI skin diagnosis solution 'RuskinX' launched earlier this year, Lulu Lab provides a function to precisely analyze skin conditions and compare and track changes before and after the procedure. In the future, it plans to expand the scope of its application to skin disease analysis and prognosis prediction.
