Cheongju City provides low-cost occupancy spaces and consulting and investment attraction programs to start-ups and venture companies through the Public Rental Knowledge Industry Center (Future Nuri Center) located in Ochang-eup. Currently, 25 companies have moved in, and a total of 32.1 billion won will be invested to complete the new knowledge industry center by 2028.
Sangdang (CEO Lee Soo-yeon), which participated in this fair as a Cheongju company, is a handmade bakery that started in Cheongju in 2019. Sangdang is a bakery loved in the region with local stories in bread that is faithful to the basics. Red bean bread, Soboro bread, and soft milk cream bread, which have been loved for a long time, are sold as representative menus. It also consistently presents menus using agricultural products and local specialties from Cheongju. It sells bread with unique characteristics of Cheongju using excellent raw materials produced in the region such as Cheongwon Life Rice and Hongguk Rice.
The fair will introduce new bread made from red rice, which is known to help lower cholesterol levels.
Rooster Coffee (CEO Kim Hak-min and Ryu Kwang-hyun) is a coffee bean roasting company established in 2014, and its main business is roasting and supplying coffee beans. Rooster Coffee runs a drip bag coffee tasting at the fair and also sells a variety of coffee beans.
