Revenue was up 17% year-over-year, and operating profit fell year-over-year due to higher sea freight following the war in Iran and lower chlorine sales due to lower customer utilization rates.
"As a result of continuing to expand sales based on product competitiveness despite external uncertainties, we recorded the highest sales in the same quarter ever," a Unid official said. "We will respond flexibly to market changes in the second half of the year and strive to improve external growth and profitability."
