According to a survey of sampling campaign participants by Yuhan Kimberly's incontinence and hygiene care brand Defend Style, 99.4% of those who experienced incontinence said it was necessary to use a dedicated product rather than a sanitary pad when experiencing incontinence. On the other hand, 27.4% of those who have experienced light incontinence actually used dedicated products, which is only about 1 in 4 people, the survey showed.
On the 23rd, Yuhan Kimberly announced the results of this Defend-style 'Choice to Make Me Who I Am' sampling campaign survey. This is the result of analyzing the pre-survey data of 155 people who participated in the Defend Style Sampling Campaign "Choice to Make Me Me" and experienced the product, as well as 237 people who experienced light incontinence.
In addition, 76.8% of sampling participants said they had experienced avoiding or delaying activities they wanted to do due to incontinence concerns, and 97.4% recognized that such worries had a mental and psychological effect. As a result, 99.4% of those who experienced it said they were willing to bring a defensive style when going out in the future. The main situations you want to use were △routine outings △high activity days such as exercise and climbing △long-distance travel and long-term outings.
After experiencing the defending style, it was found that they showed a positive attitude toward going out and activities. 73.5% of those who experienced the product said they were more relieved than before when going out or doing activities after wearing the product. In addition, 49.7% said they think they can continue their activities even when they go out or move for a long time.
There is also a possibility that the product exclusively for incontinence will not be used only in special situations, but will be used as a management item that naturally takes care of needs. 38.7% of those who experienced it said they would use the defensive style as an "item to take care of naturally during daily activities," and 36.8% said they would use it as a "management item to take care of my situation."
"Light incontinence is not visible, but it can be a big concern in daily life that limits drinking water, going out, and the scope of activities," said Yuhan Kimberly, head of Defend Style. "We will continue to expand opportunities to experience and choose products exclusively for incontinence so that consumers can fully focus on their activities in their daily lives, including the summer vacation season."
