Energy talk, an electric actuator company, and Makinarax, a domestic physical artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 24th that they have signed a strategic cooperation agreement (MOU) to build an "AI native factory."

The agreement ceremony was held at 2 p.m. on the 23rd at the headquarters of Enetalk in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, and was attended by the CEO of both companies. This agreement is significant in that Enerotalk is the starting point for a company-wide AI transformation (AX) that changes its constitution from a simple mechanical drive device manufacturer to a "pro-(親) AI manufacturing company" that intelligently intelligentsizes products and production sites at the same time.

Based on a long-term roadmap of more than three years, the two companies will redesign their energy talk manufacturing plant into an AI-native factory.

▲AI agent-based office automation ▲ AI-based production process optimization ▲ production automation using robots and physical AI ▲ data infrastructure and operating systems for AI-native factories will be established. Through this, the goal is to build a 'digital neural network' that penetrates the pre-manufacturing cycle (End-to-End) from product production to field data collection and self-control.

Enerotalk plans to expand this AX to its overseas production base. In particular, the AI native factory standard established by the Yeoju plant is planned to be applied to local factories in Vietnam at the same time. Through this, the plan is to implement the '3Q policy' more completely by raising delivery date and quality at the same time, and strengthen 'time-to-value competitiveness' in global distribution networks such as Russia and Saudi Arabia. Since each base operates on the same AI standard, Energy Talk expects that the speed of local production and delivery will accelerate, directly leading to the expansion of global orders.

"The future of the manufacturing industry depends on product intelligence and supply of high value-added solutions beyond simple hardware competitiveness," said Lee Choong-yeol, CEO of Energy Talk. "By combining the driving mechanism know-how accumulated over 40 years with Makinarax's physical AI, we will expand AI standards verified in Yeoju to overseas factories including Vietnam to dramatically shorten global production lead time."
